Tours, transport
& local experience.
Tanni Travel is a family-owned tour and transport operator based in Eskifjörður. We have been running tours across East Iceland since 1993.
We work with travel agencies, DMCs and cruise lines on private itineraries, group transport and shore excursions.
Private tours &
itinerary development
We develop custom itineraries, operate our own tours and deliver programmes supplied by our partners. Our involvement can begin with planning a visit to East Iceland or with arranging the local tours and transport for an itinerary already in place.
Private programmes can bring together journeys through the fjords, geothermal bathing, town visits and time in the highlands. A programme may cover a single day or several days in the region, with the route and schedule developed around the group and the purpose of the visit.
We work closely with numerous partners across East Iceland, bringing local services and experiences into the itineraries we develop. These relationships are part of how we plan and coordinate programmes in the region.
Vehicle & driver hire
We provide vehicle and driver hire for tours, transfers and group visits across East Iceland. Transport can form part of a programme developed by Tanni Travel or support a partner’s own arrangements in the region.
The route, pickup points and timetable are planned around the group and its itinerary. Guiding is available as part of the tour or transport service where required.
We serve groups of all sizes.

EAST ICELAND
Cruise services
We arrange shore excursions and group transport for cruise lines and their travel partners calling at Seyðisfjörður and other ports of East Iceland.
Our work covers the excursion itinerary, guiding, vehicles and coordination around the ship’s call.
Excursions can be drawn from our own tours, developed for a particular call or operated to a partner’s programme. We coordinate the local arrangements around the time in port, with transport, pickup and return planned as part of the excursion.
